What are some of the changes with the Mygazines newsstand?
To our valued newsstand members, past and present:
You may have noticed some things have changed in the Mygazines world. The most obvious change is that our newsstand now resides at mygazines.net as opposed to mygazines.com. At mygazines.com we now host our publisher management tools, giving our publishing partners more ways to create and share better content with you!
What are some of the other changes around here?
1. As you also may have noticed we’re no longer offering an open upload for anyone to upload magazines to the site. This was a difficult decision, but we ultimately believe that by providing our publishing capabilities only to verified publishers, we not only protect the publishing industry from piracy but also provide our viewers (you) with the best possible content!
2. "Magazines" are now referred to as "publications". Simply put, mygazines.net is not just for magazines, so why pigeon hole it? "Publications" better describes the array of content that our newsstand platform is suitable for.
3. "Mygazines" are now referred to as "compilations". Again, it just makes more sense since that’s essentially what a 'mygazines' was referring to – a compilation of articles
4. Rich media! That's right, our digital flipbook now offers greater interactivity and rich media integration. So start reading and enjoy the experience
5. Some content is restricted to publishers’ membership only. You'll notice a little
next to a title if it's restricted. You can still read a preview of the publication even before deciding if you wish to register with the publisher
That's it. The rest of the Mygazines newsstand is just as you remember it. So what are you waiting for? Start reading!
